Cancellation before minimum term (moving abroad)

I am moving out of Germany at the beginning of September; I accidentally sent a fax with the termination of DSL contract form but realised that the minimum period is actually December. How do I cancel the contract when I leave Germany? And does it matter that I already sent the termination form.
