Is data enough or do I need wifi?

I have just moved to a new flat and ordered DSL, but I am considering cancelling. My data plan ran out a few days ago, but it seems like I'm still able to do everything I need to do—surf online, download work files, even stream YouTube videos and Netflix. I use the hotspot from my phone to work on my laptop. Do I need DSL? Any factors I should consider? Thanks in advance.

Hi @msax,

as I can see, you have decided to cancel your dsl order.
This is really interesting because I've had a dsl contract for ages - my mobile contract features a decent LTE coverage, wifi, and a generous data plan, still I've somehow never considered ending my dsl contract, even though under the right circumstances it can be completely reasonable to do so these days. 🙂

It would be interesting to see how the combination of phone, hotspot and laptop works out for you in the long run, so if you'd like to give us an update some time later, please feel free to do so.

Best regards,
Jan.

Hello again,
So, because I canceled the DSL, I sent back the modem. I did not know which label to use so I applied for/downloaded all 4 options. I used one to send the modem back. I’m now getting email notifications regarding the other 3 shipping labels that I downloaded and didn’t use. Can you help?

I returned the modem with the number:
RET1900389762

The other 3 unused return numbers are:
RET1900389840
RET1900389835
RET1900389833
