DSL Homebox 6641: No DSL or Internet Light in router, post connection


Hello,

We recently moved from one location to another.

As we wanted to continue with our existing contract we requested to move our DSL connection also to the new place.

The technician also came a few days back to verify everything and made the proper connections.

He confirmed that we should be able to connect now

However the Internet does not work. The router displays only below lights:

1. Power : Green

2. WLAN: Green

3. LAN: Green (when connected to Laptop, otherwise remains off)

4. DSL --> NO LIGHT

5. INTERNET --> NO LIGHT.

Router Model: Homebox 6641

The internet does not connect at all.

Can someone please help me what to do?

I tried to connect cables again, Install softwares again, change PIN, Factory reset of Modem. But still nothing works.

I tried to call contact centre multiple times over the last few days, but because both me and my wife dont know Deutsche and no one there speaks English, we unable to get in touch with anyone there.

Any tips what can be done next, will be helpful.Please help!!!

I checked the wiring coming to the O2 homebox



The wiring seems to be OK, but please correct me if i am wrong.

However, I also checked the wiring coming to router.

I believe i have put it at right place.

Still I get below in router. No DSL or Internet Light.

Can someone please help me?

Hi Mayank,

i have placed a ticket to our tecnicians for you. It schould be a problem in the outdoor wiring. It is possible that a technician from the telekom have to show up again.

Hi, I got EXACTLY the same problem

Today the technician came in the morning and connected me and said that everything fine and the internet should work at 17:30, but it doesn't (the DSL lamp does not on).

What should I do? How did you solve your problem?

Exactly the same thing is happening to me right now. I'm new customer, received router, plugged it in, and the DSL light is dark. What should I do?

I am having exactly the same problem No DSL or Internet light. For one month the internet used to work properly but now it is not working. I tried calling the customer care but I don't know Deutsch. The payment bill is proper. Please help me in solving this issue.

Hello, I am having the very same problem now, with the internet light off. The internet simply is gone and I have changed absolutely nothing. This is the fourth time it occurs in 3 months and every time I have to call or try the chat, although sometimes it take hours to find someone. After I talk to the attendant, they make an  Störungsprotokoll , and the internet returns after couple hours. 

Please is there anything that I can do, so I don't need to ask for the 02 help every time? I have tried everything people described above, as restart the modern, reinsert the pin, re plug the cables. I simply don't know why it happens.

I am having the EXACT same issue as you.

The O2 technicians came, said it would all be working within an hour. But no DSL light.

Maybe @@o2_Christian or @o2_Stefancan help???

No I am still without internet connexion after 1 week!! They said that a technical would come twice, but both times nobody showed here!

I called there last week, and they said I would have to wait 6 days for a technician.

It's unbelievable the level of disrespect of 02 to customers.

The is no need to fullquote a thread that is svereal years old. If you have an issue just open a new one, we will look into every thread one after another.
