Contact Extension, Tariff Change and Question

Hello, I've been a customer for many years. Right now I'm on the old All-In-L tariff, which is very unimpressive compared to the current tariffs of o2 and other provider's.

If I could get the Free M tariff at a good price then I would consider switching to that and extending the contract.

There's one other issue - I'm already paying for 2 other o2 contracts (my wife and mother-in-law) but they're in a separate account. I would like the Kombi-Vorteil, so I wonder if it's possible to move my contract to another account - is there a solution for combining accounts?

Thanks,
Leo

Hello @Leo777 ,

welcome in our community.

I would like to start with your second question. The Kombi-Vorteil is only available, if every contract is running under one customer number.

It is possible to put the contracts together. The normal service charge will be 29,99€ for each contract which you want to take over at your custommer number.
If you are extending your contract, i am able to offer you one take over for free.
Here is a link to this service: http://g.o2.de/inhaberwechsel

For the possible contract extension with your number ending with a 662 i can offer you a change of the tarifplan into the o2 Free M for free.
This tarifplan will be charged regularly montly with 29,99€ but i am able to offer you a benefit of 4,50€. Means you have to pay only 24,99€

Pursuant to the decree of transparency I need to inform you about our tariff leaflets which you can download here: http://g.o2.de/travo. There you'll find all details of the product listed.
If that sounds good to you and you'd like to take the offer, just say it 🙂

Regards Michael
Thanks, yes that sounds good and I will accept your offer for o2 Free M. Should I use the 'inhaberwechsel' link first?

Hello @Leo777 ,

thx for your response.

The chronological order is not important in this case.

As wished I made the contract extension for you, so from tomorrow on, you will be able to use the new tarifplan.

A confirmation should be send by e-mail.

Use the link whenever you want. Should there any requests or problems, do not be shy and ask. You are welcome.

Regards Michael
Hello @o2_Micha

I used the 'inhaberwechsel' link to transfer my contract to my wife's account, and she received the email but it says it will cost 29.99, the full message is:

code:
"Über folgenden Link können Sie mit ein paar einfachen Schritten den Vertragsinhaberwechsel beauftragen. Bitte beachten Sie, dass hierfür auf Ihrer ersten Rechnung eine einmalige Gebühr in Höhe von 29,99 € erhoben wird."

The link hasn't been clicked yet. How can I take advantage of your offer to transfer it free?

Thanks,
Leo

Hi @Leo777 ,
the link contains the standart text message. I left a note in our systems, that the "inhaberwechsel" will be free of charge for you.

regards Michael
Hello @o2_Micha

Here is Leo again, but now writing from my wife's account, because after completing the 'inhaberwechsel' it won't let me login to my other account, it says "Sie sind noch nicht bei Mein O2 registriert". Anyway that's not a problem, since I won't be using that account any more.

However, the big problem is that my transferred contract doesn't appear in my wife's account, it seems to have disappeared! I received an email confirming that my account was transferred, it says:

code:
"Hiermit bestätigen wir Ihnen die erfolgreiche Änderung der Vertragsdaten zum 20.02.2019. Der Tarif o2 Free M (2019) Privatkunde wird ab sofort unter der Kundennummer 60xxxxxx01 geführt"

But that is not my wife's Kundennummer, and it's not my old Kundennummer, so I don't know why it's gone to somebody else! I definitely entered the correct details on the transfer form...

Please help me find my missing number!

Thanks,
Leo

Hi @Leo727,

I have looked further into the matter, and I am happy to announce there is a logical explanation for this: :)

The goal of this transaction was that all three phone numbers were transferred to your wife's account (right?).
In order to do this, the owner's name of your own number (-662) had to be changed to your wife's, and this has already happened.
But somehow this resulted in a new account with your wife's name (and not your own account simply being renamed) and your phone number (-662). That is why the unfamiliar customer number appears in the email you received, it is the one from the unnecessary new account.

In order to fix this, I will now merge it with your wife's account - if everything goes according to plan, this will result in your wife's account having all three number as initially planned. :)

Things should be fixed by Monday, feel free to give us feedback when it's all done.

Best regards,
Jan.
