I want to terminate my O2 contract


Dear Customer Service,

I'm moving away from Germany on the 28th of September, so I want to terminate my current contract with O2. Currently I am using 02 Blue All-in L which I began using from 30.04.2013 and ends on 01.09.2016. If at all possible, I want to terminate the contract before the 27th September. Could you provide me with:

1) Whatever forms I need to fill in

2) A list of the documents that I need to send.

3) Contact details

I'm also closing my bank account on the 15th of September. Will this cause any problems?

I also want to add that the e-mail address registered is wrong. It's supposed to be azri141213 (at sign) gmail (dot) com but every time I try to change it, some kind of error surfaces. If you are using e-mail to answer, please use this e-mail.

I have now sent you the needed form to the mentioned e-mail address.

In that form is also mentioned what you have to hand in! ☺️

Please keep in mind that it won't be done at the 27th of September. Make sure that you somehow are able to transfer the money by yourself, or that o2 can charge the money of someone's bank account.

At the same time I have now deleted the e-mail address because this is a public forum.

Hello Jessica.  Sorry for posting in this thread. I want to create a new topic in this english category forum as I'm having issues with my o2 connection. But I'm not getting the option to create it in here. I'm only getting to create it in the prepaid category. Do u know how can I create it in the english Category?

I know it is public forum, so can you tell me the better way to solve my problem?. I don't even know how can I reach O2 to finish the contact. The person in outlet only told me to send an email, but it doesn't work at all.

I need to terminate my contract can you send me all documents to kxxxxxxxxxx@yahoo.com

I keep receveing mails that I have to pay 300 EUROS and another mail that I have to pay 115 euro.

I want to stop this.

I made this contract when I was in a visit in Germany.

I do not read German.

I sales man did not tell me I will have to cancel it.

With the number with which you are registered here I can not find you in our system.

Is it a DSL or a mobile concern?

For a mobile contract you need to use the form that I have attached to my answer here.

With it you have to hand in all the needed documents that are mentioned there.

Hi Jessica,

I need your help again. It's been 6 months since I've personally sent all the required documents for contract termination to an O2 store employee, and I'm still paying for the services. Could you please check to see if they're still in the process of terminating my contract? I'm out of Germany so I'm basically paying for services I'm not using at all. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

you received the following message from us at the 28th of November:

If you are leaving Germany for good, we would certainly like to help you and end your contract to an earlier date. For that purpose we still require copies of the following documents:

- a notification of your new, foreign domicile
- alternatively to the registration certificate a confirmation of your new employer or landlord
- your approval for us to charge you the basic fee of three months (total 59,97 EUR)

Just fill in and sign the attached document and send it back together with a copy of the document required via mail to the following address:

As soon as we have received the documents, we will cancel your mobile phone contract to an earlier date. If you do not contact us again on this matter, we will properly cancel your contract to the 15th September 2018.

After that you didn't hand in the needed documents, so you still have to do that.

Otherwise the cancellation because of moving abroad won't be completed.

You also have an open amount that you have to pay. Do that as soon as you can, otherwise you'll get into trouble.

could you send me the "attached document" that I need to fill in? And I don't think I have the 1st or 2nd document. Can I just send a copy of my identification card? It's got my address on it. And where should I send all of these to?

But no, o2 won't accept any other documents than those that are mentioned there in that document.

Without these documents the contract will not be deactivated because of moving abroad. It has to be:

- a deregistration certificate of your present place of residence- a notification of your new, foreign domicile   alternatively a confirmation of your employer or landlord Kind regards,Jessica

I have O2 Blue Basic.I wish to take this Mobile number and move to other network operator after my contract ends.

what's the procedure and Do I need to pay any fee for that?

if you want to tak the number only after the contract ends, your new provider will tell you what to do exactly.

Please note however that your personal data has to match exactly, otherwise the request for the number will be denied.

The costs are 29,99 €.
