DSL customer service in text form

Hi,

I need to contact the DSL Störungsservice but my German isn't good enough to have such a complicated conversation and my partner who normally does it is away.

My written German is adequate to be understood so it would be ok for me to use a live chat or email in German but these are not possibilities? I tried the WhatsApp chat but they won't accept anything from me as I'm not the account holder, which doesn't really make sense (a phone call is no more secure!). Is there really no way, for example, for deaf people to contact customer service?

Best regards,
Andrew

For anyone else who comes across this, there is a somewhat hidden (it's not linked to from the Contact page) live chat service available at: https://www.o2online.de/chat-auswahl/

After opening the chat, specify that you would like to speak to someone about DSL (in German of course) and you will be transferred to DSL customer service.
